Hi I'm Gamora! I'm 10 months old and looking for my forever home! I am quite timid at first and will need a slow introduction and some time to warm up to people, other dogs and new surroundings. Sometimes I bark when I first meet people or other dogs, but it's only because I'm scared. If you go slow with me and give me the extra time I need, once I feel safe with you, I will be your shadow and best friend. Loud noises and sudden movements startle me, so I would be best with older kids.
I enjoy playing with my foster siblings (3 large dogs) and love the back yard to run. It would be best to have a dog sibling to help build my confidence and learn how I am supposed to behave. I am an expert tennis ball chaser and like to play keep away from the other dogs. I have learned to bring the ball back and "give so that my foster mom can throw it again.
I already know how to sit for treats and am very food motivated. I LOVE treats!!! I walk well on a leash and do not pull. I am kennel trained, potty trained and sleep through the night. My kennel is my safe place and I often nap inside with the door open. Mom covers it with a blanket so I feel safe inside.
I am a typical puppy with lots of energy and I like to chew. I love bones, balls and "stuffies, but they will be "un-stuffies pretty quicky. Don't worry, I don't eat the stuffing, I just like to pull it all out. Being a puppy, I still don't always know what I can and cannot chew on, so Mom & Dad just say that I need to be watched or in my kennel. In the evening, I love to snuggle up in the dog beds with my foster siblings or on Dad's lap.
I promise to bring love into your family if you give me extra time, patience and a chance! I will come with age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, microchipped and up to date on heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $200. If you'd like to meet me, apply at www.lucky13rescue.org.
