Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT
We're searching for a foster or a foster-to-adopt home for this lovely girl, Remi. At around 6 years old, she came into our care after being found wandering as a stray. We noticed immediately that she had some skin issues, and was checked out a few days later. Our vet has ruled out thyroid and organ problems. She's on medication and a special diet while further tests are planned for the next month. Aside from that, Remi is the picture of health and the sweetest companion!
Initially a bit shy around new people, she might hide between her person's legs, but with some gentle encouragement (and treats), she'll quickly become your best friend. Remi embodies the typical lab characteristics once she comes out of her shell, being active, loving to play fetch, well-behaved with commands like sit and lay, very affectionate, with an adorable prance when she's playing, and a touch of silliness. We're hoping to find a foster home for her to avoid her spending time in the shelter. She's shown positive interactions with other dogs and would do well with a canine companion. We strongly recommend a fenced-in yard and preferably someone with experience in caring for labs.
