Mashed Potatoes has had a rough go of life already! At approximately 10 weeks old, he was found alone on the streets with no mom or siblings. He had terrible hair loss and was very itchy. He was taken to our rescue partner in Texas by animal control and found himself on the euthanasia list due to his treatable skin condition and lack of space. All Aboard agreed to rescue him and he received the treatment he needed to start recovering! He is doing better and starting to grow his fur back, but his skin is still itchy and dry. This sweet baby needs an adopter who has plenty of love and caring to give him to make sure he never has to go through something like this again!
From Mashed Potato's foster: " The squishiest lil tato!!! He stole our hearts as soon as we saw his lil bald head he has the sweetest soul and gives the best cuddles! Right now he is really enjoying any nap he can get and prefers it to be right on you! He's so smart and learned to sit in a couple minutes and hasn't had any accidents AND sleeps through the night in his kennel. the world is a little scary to him sometimes but he's getting more and more confident every day!! Although if he sees his reflection (very scary) he will make dinosaur noises to scare it away! Tato loves to wear his tank tops and pjs to keep him from itching his recovering skin and he looks so freaking cute !!! I'm jealous of whoever adopts this sweet boy because I want him forever.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event.

All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!
