My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddie was surrendered to us to be euthanized. Her owner said she was 16 and in terrible health. The owners are elderly and in poor health themselves and were unable to take her, they said. We picked her up and carried her to our wonderful vet, expecting to ease her over the rainbow bridge. Turns out she's only 11 and seemingly in good health. So we bought her back to the rescue. She's a super sweet cat who just wants love non-stop.

Freddie is front declawed and a true velcro girl (yes girl. No, we don t know why she's called Freddie). She has a huge purr and loves to sleep with you, watch TV with you, go to the bathroom with you...just basically be WITH you constantly. She does need a little extra care. She has feline herpes and/ or allergies that make her get congested from time to time, necessitating a convenia shot. She also seems to have some issues on occasion with her digestive tract, which are treated with a steroid shot. She thus would probably need to see the vet a few times a year for one or the other. Otherwise she is utd on vaccinations, spayed and FIV/Leukemia negative.

She may be declawed, but she's very bossy with other animals. She would do best as an only cat or with cats that are content to be submissive. She's the best company ever to humans though. We hope there's someone out there who wants to share the rest of her life with her. Perfect for an older person or home without kids. Please message us If you might be interested or know someone that might be a fit
