Virginia Slim has come a long way, baby! An adopter found her ditched on the street, zipped up in a carrier. She had a collar so we know she was once a housecat (another clue is she smelled like an ashtray, hence the name). All of this has been so stressful for her! She's now in a foster home and finally starting to relax. She loves to lounge on a pile of blankets, and she's getting all the Churu treats she can eat. She's even starting to play with toys! Ginny would do best in a quiet, single-cat home where she can call the shots. Let us know if you'd like to adopt her !

Approve Application

We will check your references and will ask a series of questions.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Most cats require $175 adoption fee which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, testing, microchip and flea treatments.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters complete a simple adoption application, which we review and approve. Upon receiving the cat(s), adopters are asked to sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee ($175 for most cats, $125 for seniors and special needs). Adopters are emailed all vet records and related forms.

More about this rescue

We're primarily a TNR volunteer group, we trap, neuter and return feral cats in the community. We often find tame cats or young kittens during these projects and these cats make up the bulk of our adoptable cats here.
