Hi, I'm Loki! I'm a laid back senior mini panther who is looking for a home to spend my golden years in. I have always lived with my older sister and have made friends with all of my roommates here at the shelter, so I will require a home with a confident friendly cat who wants to be my best friend.
I need a calm and quiet home as it takes a little bit for me to trust people. My family should be cat savvy and understand that I am shy when I first meet someone. They will need to know how to interact with me and give me lots of love, TLC, patience and treats! I just need time to acclimate to my new environment, believe me, I'm worth it!
Cats? Absolutely !!! I require a friendly cat buddy already in the home. They can show me the ropes and teach me how to be a house cat again.
Kids are great, but no little ones for me. I would prefer a home with cat friendly teenagers 15+. I would love to meet the whole family to be sure we are a match!

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
