My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~ Junebug is currently in a wonderful foster home where he's receiving plenty of TLC. Please reach out to our Small Animal Coordinator, Greta, at gdelbonis@parl.org to learn even more about Junebug and inquire about adoption! ~

Introducing our brave ball of floof, Junebug! When this little man came into our care, he needed some assistance learning to be a rabbit, having never eaten hay before. Slowly, but surely with support from our team and his dedicated foster family, he's now eating hay and treats, is as friendly and social as can be, and can't wait to find his home!

According to his loving foster, "He is a social bun that loves snuggling and company of all kinds including rabbit-savvy cats and dogs. He has also shown interest in our resident rabbits and may be a good bonding candidate. He is confident and curious and although he's not a huge chewer he enjoys exploring every nook and cranny of his space, so bunny-proofing will need to be tight. He has a blast with stacking cups, snuffle mats, and other food dispensing puzzles."

Due to his previous diet, Junebug has chronic dental issues and will likely need regular dental care/procedures throughout his life, as well as additional dietary supplements, like Emeraid or Critical Care, aka his beloved dish of "mush," in addition to hay and pellets to make sure

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
