My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katia is one of 7 siblings who were found with their mom, malnourished, roaming the streets. They were brought them to the shelter where they got the food and nourishment they needed. Now they have a chance at adoption.

As an 8-month-old puppy Katia has a lot of energy, so she needs to run and play, and love to go on long walks. Once adopted we require you to sign up for a group puppy training classes so she can learn the rules of life. This allows for continued socialization and learning and helps create a well-mannered and well-balanced dog.

Katia gets along with other dogs, and she was cat tested in the shelter where she showed no interest, so a dog savvy cat would be appropriate. Katia feels comfortable with older calm kids. The perfect home must have a secure fenced-in yard, so she was safely run and play.
At first, she can be shy, but warms up quickly especially when engaged with treats, playing and belly rubs. She needs to go in a home where there is another young friendly dog who she can learn from and play with which will also help build up her confidence.
