My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Man, this sweet girl had a ROUGH start in life. She was found in a ditch after being hit by a car days prior. She was rushed to our vet where they determined her injuries had occurred days before she was found. We think she was too scared to move so she just stayed where she was.

Little Callie had a broken jaw and some bumps and bruises but not lasting issues, thankfully.

After being cared for by our wonderful vet and our foster, Callie is now ready for her own family. Callie is currently in our jail program where inmates care for her and other puppies. She is getting lots of love and attention and she is playing with the other puppies. Even with that rough beginning, Callie is a happy, well adjusted puppy!

Callie is a Poodle mix and we think she might be a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix but we can't be sure. She will probably be on the medium side (but she loves being a "lap dog"!)
