Meet Lucille! She first came to Animal Friends in 2020 as a transfer from a partner organization. She returned to the shelter in 2022 through no fault of her own. This affectionate, social dog hopes to find her perfect match this time! Lucille loves walks, car rides, play and enrichment activities. She gets excited to see her favorite people and loves
snuggling with them. Lucille seeks an adult-only home where she is also the only pet, so she will be the center of your attention! Lucille is also unable to live in any type of communal living environments as it is too stressful for her with all the commotion and people around. Schedule an appointment to meet Lucille, and you will be saying "I love Lucy!"
Lucille is one of Aurora's "Special Canines, meaning that her requested adoption donation has been underwritten and her new family will receive a starter kit of supplies and other support based on her unique needs. This special package is made possible by Aurora's "Special Canines Fund established in honor of a spunky little dog named Aurora to ensure that dogs in our care who are struggling to find a suitable home due to their age, or unique medical or behavior needs are given that extra support.
