In early September, Neko was picked up by Thurston County Animal Services as a stray near Carpenter Rd in Lacey.
We adopted her a week later with the hope of creating some "double-dog" fun with our other female cattle dog, Wilda.
Unfortunately, Wilda absolutely HATES Neko and we have decided it would be best if Neko found a new home.
Neko enjoys romps in the woods, solving her treat "puzzle", fetching tennis balls at the school field, and belly scritches.
As a young cattle dog mix, her manners are still a bit "Ruff", but she is a very sweet and smart girl who is eager to please and who loves to cuddle. She also gets along well with other dogs encountered out and about and most people, but does startle easily around cars.
