Frito came to our rescue from CACC as a stray. He had an upper respiratory infection when he first came to us, but was a trooper taking his medicine and recovered quickly. Frito came to our rescue from CACC as a stray. He had an upper respiratory infection when he first came to us, but was a trooper taking his medicine and recovered quickly.
Frito is very easy going when he see dogs from afar and doesn’t bark. He is interested when in close proximity and would like to play! He is very good at play bows. He wants to play with other dogs, but very good at self entertaining as well. Frito seems very interested in receiving love and attention from people of all ages. He doesn’t mind people touching his feet or rolling him over during play. For a larger puppy, he is very gentle, but he is strong and unaware of his own strength, so it's important that younger kids in the home understand that!
Frito would be amazing in nearly any home. He is so sweet, and ignores the resident dog when she barks at him over silly things. He is rambunctious during ball play, but enjoys lots of naps in between.
If you're still wondering if you should adopt Frito, have you seen his face?!? This boy is the total package. He would be great in a house with another dog, but also ok to be the only dog. He just wants lots of love, and with his silky soft fur, he is a joy to love on and give lots of pets and scritches to. Fun fact about Frito, he can play ball all by himself! He carries one in his mouth and bats another around with his front paws like he’s a soccer player. Also, he is an expert at batting them out from under furniture too!
Frito is a smart boy and is working hard on learning commands like "sit", and is learning "give", "leave it", "no", and "come". He is crate trained, and is so excited to be a part of someone's home!
