Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gibby is an absolute dream dog. Gibby exhibits everything positive about the German Shepherd breed. He is incredibly smart, and he already knows how to sit, stay, and shake! Gibby is very attached to his people; he likes to follow you when you get up, and he really enjoys just being in the same room with you. Gibby has been socialized with lots of other people, and he was never scared or nervous meeting new people or animals. Gibby was also very gentle with a toddler who wanted to love on him constantly, so he must have been used to children, as well.
Despite being around 6 years old, Gibby is a very chill dog. He sleeps all through the night, and he’s been crated during the day. Every once in awhile, he likes to play with other dogs, but he’s mainly concerned with knowing where his people are. Gibby has been socialized with other dogs (both big and small, male and female) and cats. While he was scared of cats at first and ran away, he has no interest in chasing them.
Gibby will make a great pet for any family. He was obviously loved by someone once, and although he was stressed by the shelter environment initially, he is thriving in a home, putting on weight, and is loved by anyone who meets him
