Pick a Pepper! Pepper has been accused of being a stage 5 clinger, but he just adores his people so much! He doesn't mind getting up in your business to let you know your space is his too. This adorable fellow gets along well with other pups and would be happiest with another small dog to play and snuggle with. Pepper is a love bug but asks for patience and understanding as he learns to trust new people and places. Being foster home schooled, he is learning skills to be ready for you. He has been diagnosed with grade 4 luxating patellas on both back legs. Est. birthdate is 9/19/2017, 13 lbs., vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee $400.00. Pepper is ready to bless his someone or family with all that he is.

Two by Two Rescue requires that you be at least 21 years of age and sign an adoption contract. If you have pets, they must be up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm preventative. A vet reference ( if you have pets) is required. If interested in giving one of our pets a permanent home, please take the first step by completing an adoption application

More about this rescue

Two by Two Rescue began in 2002 when two ladies met and began feeding strays in Old Town Helena, Alabama. The rescue has grown to a 501 C (3) volunteer, no-kill organization. Our goal is to save the lives of abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals, and educate the public about responsible pet care. We care for these rescues in private foster homes. Our animals are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped regardless of breed, age, or medical cost. We receive no state funding or government assistance. We survive by the donations of caring people, fund raising, and adoption fees.
