Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 12-month-old Shepherd/Boxer is our best guess. He is good on a leash, likes car rides, potty trained and good with other dogs. He isn’t a huge shedder and would make a great companion for an active family that wants an active and social dog to join them. He weighs about 50 pounds. He is vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He is a moderate to low shedding dog. He is athletic and smart and he already knows sit command. He gets into the truck on his own and he wasn’t reactive today when he met the new dogs. He was abandoned and a family has taken him into their home. She recently lost her husband and now she feels she doesn’t have time to take care of Buddy so she needs to go ahead and get him a new forever home with a younger more vibrant family. He is a wonderful dog and we cannot find a fault in this boy. He likes all people and will be able to go places with you with lots of people as he is extremely friendly. He has been around her grandchildren. He would be great as a family dog with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See his cute video!!
