MONGO IS A SIX-YEAR OLD NEUTRED MALE WHO DOES WELL WITH OTHER DOGS. CATS AN SMALL CHILDREN ARE UNKNOWN. HE HAS HAD SOME TRAINING AND IS A GREAT COMPANION BOY WHO WOULD DO WELL GOING FOR HIKES, TO THE BEACH, OR JUST CHILLING AT HOME.

We do require a completed application to be sent in, a telephone interview and later an in person interview. We also require a home check and we do require the new owners to maintain contact with us for the life of the animal. We have an adoption contract that must be signed.

Folks are welcome to come to our facility to meet the horses as well as the Navajo-Churro, Icelandic flocks, and cashmere goats.

More about this rescue

We take in those Rhodesian Ridgebacks needing to be rehomed as well as confiscated horses from the authorities. Both dogs and horses are rehabilitated, seen by a veterinarian, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are spayed or neutered.
