DOB 11/8/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Mickey (Mouse), and I’m a sweet, friendly, playful brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who’s very bonded to my identical-twin sister Minnie. I love it when Foster Meowmy picks me up and holds me like a baby. I just look up adoringly as she rubs my tummy at the same time. Boy howdy! It’s like I’m in heaven. My other favorite thing about Foster Meowmy is that she gives me yummy Churus squeezable treats.
But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I love to zoom through the kitty-tunnel and to chase Da Bird wand toy mercilessly about the whole room. I also enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the other kitties in my foster home.
But Minnie is by far my “bestie.” You see, we were abandoned together in southwest Houston and fortunately rescued when we were eleven months old. The trauma of surviving the hardscrabble life as strays has made us especially close. In fact, I anxiously cry when Minnie’s out of my sight because I’ve always been her protective big brother. People have a hard time telling us apart except I’m larger and have a broader face, which you’d expect since I’m a macho boy!
Although we’re happily situated in our foster home, we realize that it’d be best for us to find our forever home with fewer other cats to share our hooman’s attention. Although we could be adopted separately, it would be perfect in our book if we could stay together since we’re “attached at the hip.” Consider adopting the pair of us so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

If you are interested in Mickey and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
