Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Irma, an 7 year old spayed female who weighs about 50 pounds. Irma is a sweetie who loves to chill & receive as many belly & ear rubs as you’re willing to give. She’s a quiet, low key girl that just wants love & affection. She has not displayed any separation anxiety & has been left not crated with the foster's dogs & was on her best behavior. She’s working on her leash skills & is slowly increasing the length of her walks. Irma has a slight limp due to an injury but she doesn’t let that stop her from exploring her environment & neighborhood. She enjoys meeting new people & dogs and has zero aggression. She has not been cat or child tested. At night, Irma settles in her bed & sleeps through the night. She is an amazing sleeper & sleeps while you sleep, whether it’s an early work morning or a lazy Saturday sleeping in. How amazing is that! Breakfast & dinner are her favorite times of the day & she is definitely motivated by food & treats.
She has quickly learned basic commands. While car rides are a little scary for Irma we are sure that with practice & patience, she’ll learn that car rides can be so much fun. Irma is so smart & has quickly learned to adapt to our schedule. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house. What a Rockstar!!!!! Irma can be a little skittish but who wouldn’t be after living as a stray. With love, patience, reassurance & gentle touches, she is blossoming. And the best is yet to come. She is a joy & anyone that adopts her, will be so incredibly lucky. You couldn’t ask for a better fur companion.
