My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Potato  is a 13 year old chihuahua who came to our care when her owner had to go live in a nursing home. Potato is a very easy girl to love and care for. She mostly sleeps and pops up every now and then looking for some butt scratches.  She loves snuggling under the covers at night sleeping with her humans and would love to find a home where she can chill and get those butt scratches on the regular for her remaining years. She does have a collapsing trachea which is common in some smaller dogs and takes cough syrup as needed to help her breath when it acts ups. She also has a tumor on her belly that is nonmalignant but that can't be safely removed due to her trachea issue. All in all though, she's a sweetheart. Her foster family calls her their little "sweet potato." If you'd like to spoil this sweet senior with the good life, please submit an application of interest by clicking the Adopt button under her photo on our website at www.4pups.org.

Potato's adoption fee is $25 as she's considered hospice since her trachea issue prevents her from any surgical medical procedures that she might need in the future and also from getting that dental she really needs. Her adopter must be ok with stinky breath. :)
