My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Mindy Mae is a big, beautiful girl who is looking for a home. Mindy Mae is with our partner rescue but hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for our dogs currently in Louisiana to approved adopters.

Mindy Mae is described as a really big sweet ham of a girl! Mindy Mae's best friend is her 80 year old foster grandma. Mindy Mae came from an abuse case but she still loves humans and doesn't hold a grudge. Mindy Mae does well with male dogs but is selective with females. She is housebroken and crate trained.

Mindy Mae is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Mindy Mae completed treatment for heartworm and is now negative. Her adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
