Hello, my name is Daniel. Do you see me peeking out at you? I think it's fun to hide in boxes and other closed-up places so people have to look for me!
I was adopted when I was only about eight months old, and I thought I had found my forever home. But there was this dog in my house and we just didn't get along. It wasn't my fault, really, he just was in my face, so I let him have it. I warned him, but he started with me anyway. Next time I get adopted, I'm going to make sure they don't have a dog.
I think I would like a home with people who will treat me like part of their family. I'm going to need healthy food in my new home, and a few fun toys to exercise my mind, too. Yes, yes, I'll still roll a ball around on the floor, but how about some mind-stimulating puzzles, too? Oh, and a nice, soft bed for napping after all that playing!
I think you should submit an application to adopt me, and I think you should do that right away! You can find the applications on the shelter website, and they're pretty easy to do (or so I've been told). Once it's been approved, someone will reach out and make arrangements for us to meet.
