Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 6 October 2023 ----- Age at intake: 5 years ----- Breed: Labrador Retriever ----- Size: 50 lbs ----- Status: pound pull/stray hold expiration ----- Compatible with: dogs, children. Cats unknown ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard, possible apartment with adequate daily leash exercise ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Robert!! This handsome lab was found astray and we pulled him to sanctuary when his hold time expired. He is a very handsome boy! He has a skin infection but completed medication for that and has put on weight nicely. Robert is ready for his forever home. He can be a bit dog selective and just needs slower introductions and his space in the beginning but he has made lots of friends here. We have not cat tested yet but have a feeling he would do best in a cat free home. He deserves an amazing forever home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is preferred.
