My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Logan, the lovable 7-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as his puppy paws! Rescued from a high-kill shelter, Logan is now on the lookout for a forever home filled with love and warmth.

Logan's charming black and white coat is not just for show—it's a reflection of his friendly and outgoing personality. Weighing in at a perfect 37 pounds, he's the ideal blend of cuddly and playful. Logan is a social butterfly, getting along famously with his fellow furry friends. Whether it's a game of fetch or a cozy nap in the sun, Logan is ready to be the perfect companion.

Though he may be a tad shy at first, it won't take long for Logan to melt your heart with his sweet nature. His resilience is truly inspiring, having faced the challenges of being abandoned and bouncing back with tail-wagging optimism.

Logan is at that perfect age where he's past the tiny puppy stage but still has that adorable, youthful energy. He's eager to learn and please, making him an excellent candidate for puppy training classes. With a little patience and a lot of love, Logan is sure to blossom into the well-behaved and devoted family member you've been dreaming of.

If you're ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your home, look no further than Logan. His wagging tail and puppy eyes are waiting to make your house a home. Come meet Logan and discover the joy of unconditional puppy love! 🐾

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
