My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mason and I am in search of my forever home. I am a beagle mix born 1/20/23 and I weigh about 43 lbs. If you are looking for a running partner, I’m your guy! I still need leash training cuz I get a little over excited and forget my manners and tend to pull. I am a great jumper too. My foster mom thinks with the right training I could compete in agility competitions. I’m willing to try if you are! I love to go on car rides, but my tummy doesn’t always like it. I take a pill when we’re going on long car rides and my tummy doesn’t get upset anymore. My foster mom thinks I have a little anxiety so I wear a belly band whenever I can’t be watched or when she leaves the house. The dog who lives here is so much fun. So I think I’d like to have a furry friend in my new family. He really helps to get my energy out! I’m even getting used to the cat who lives here. My beagle nose tends to lead me astray sometimes so I probably need a fenced yard to explore. I also like to explore countertops for food. My mom uses the word off and l’m slowly learning to stay down. I know how to sit, shake and lay down. I don’t like to be locked in a kennel at all. My mom lets me sleep with her and roam freely when she’s gone. I am very leery of new people. I will hide until I feel comfortable, getting to know someone has got to be on my terms. But once I know you I will give lots of kisses and cuddle up by you on the couch. I’ve been around older kids and I love them, I’m sure I’d do just as well with little humans. There is so much more I could tell you about myself. Why don’t we meet so I can show you what a great addition to your family I could be!
