My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We call this beautiful lady Burnie and she is looking for her forever home. Burnie is a 6.5 year old spayed husky who is up to date on all vaccinations and is also house trained. Burnie does well with older children. She doesn’t mind cats but she would prefer to be the only dog in your home.
Burnie loves to watch the Steelers and enjoys hyping you up as you cook. She also loves taking walks uptown, as well as hikes on the trail.

If Burnie sounds like just the best friend that you have been missing- please complete the adoption application today! Burnie is being fostered in the south hills and is ready to meet you.

More about this rescue

We are a foster-based, nonprofit animal rescue. Our mission is to save lives and help unwanted and homeless pets to know what love truly is. Through our network of volunteer foster homes, we also provide safe and stable temporary homes to animals that may be displaced as a result of domestic violence. We want the survivors to know that they are supported and that they matter and that their beloved pets will be waiting for them when they are ready to bring them home.
Every animal in our care will be socialized and cared for so that they are healthy and happy and ready to live a long life with their family. We also are huge advocates of the importance of spaying and neutering pets and are committed to that cause.
