My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have MANY more bunnies that have not yet been listed. Please fill out an application on our website www.morabbit.org OR call us at 314-995-1457 and leave a message.  We will call you back to schedule a visit to our adoption center, The Bunny House, in Fenton, Missouri.

Karla and Karmen are a bonded pair of 7-year-old bunnies whose 1st owner passed away, leaving them in search of another forever home. Karla is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet and endearing bunny has an affinity for pets and is incredibly easy to hold. Karla's charming personality will warm your heart as soon as you meet her. Her calming presence and soft fur make her the perfect lap bunny to curl up with on a cozy evening. Karmen is the mischievous Lionhead who loves to explore. She is also easy to handle. They would do well with older children and adults. The best part of bonded bunnies is that they come with a built-in best friend. Both bunnies are litterbox trained and spayed. If you're ready to open your heart and home to these delightful bunnies, Karla and Karmen are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to be your companions. They promise to fill your days with love, cuddles, and joy. Don't miss the chance to bring this bonded pair of bunnies into your life and share in their endless bunny adventures.

Our bunnies are available for adoption in person by appointment at our adoption center in Fenton, MO, or you can meet a few bunnies and get some great information at the following Petsmart store locations and times:

Due to COVID-19 we are not in Petsmart stores at this time.  Please visit us at www.morabbit.org to complete an application or call 314-995-1457.

Additional adoption info

When considering adopting from Missouri House Rabbit Rescue, we require you to complete a questionnaire. YOU MUST BE 21 or over to complete it. If you are under 21 and living at home, a parent or guardian must fill out and send it in. Please fill it out at https://www.morabbit.org/adoption-process.
Detailed information about the adoption process is included with the adoption questionnaire.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY HOUSING OR SUPPLIES PRIOR TO ATTENDING OUR ADOPTION CLASS.

Our list of bunnies available for adoption is constantly changing due to adoptions and rescues. Check out our adoptable rabbits here. When interested in a particular bunny, please call or email us and have the bunny's name, description, etc. handy when you call or include it in your email. Please note that some rabbits have special needs mentioned in their listings and cannot go out to households with small children or inexperienced bunny owners. We have these policies in place to protect the owners and the rabbits.

Our Adoption Fee is $75.00 for a single and $125.00 for a bonded pair.

All bunnies coming to the Bunny House to find a friend must be fully vaccinated for RHDV2.

More about this rescue

Missouri House Rabbit Rescue is a 501 (c3) all-volunteer, non-profit organization with a dual purpose of rescue and education. Donations are tax deductible.

Utilizing foster homes as well as The Bunny House shelter, volunteers provide appropriate care and socialization opportunities to rabbits so that they may be adopted into loving, permanent, indoor homes. Our educators assist the public, humane societies, and local shelters through publications on rabbit care, phone and e-mail consultations, and classes upon request.
