My name is Charlie!

Charlie was found as a stray wandering outside. He was abandoned by his previous owners when they moved out of the neighborhood. Despite this sad past, he is the biggest sweetheart and loves being pet. He's very laid back and will follow you around just to find a comfy place to be in the room with you. He's got a very unique purr and likes to play with his mouse wand toy!

He's listed as "special needs" because he has been through some rough times for being so young (he's estimated to be 2-3 years old). At some point, he must have sustained a serious injury to his belly because he had a hernia that healed over with a bunch of scar tissue. He contracted FIV while living outside as well. FIV compromises the immune system in cats, but isn't contagious to humans; however, it is contagious to other cats through bites. This was all before he came into my care. Since then, he's been neutered and vaccinated, and visited the vet numerous times to get him antibiotics and eye ointment.
