Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is sweet Sophie. She is 4yrs old. We got her from a breeder at 8wks old. She was said to be a pure bread miniature dachshund, however genetic testing done by our vet revealed she is 75% miniature dachshund and 25% terrier. Sophie is a very loving, loyal, well behaved pet. She gets along with other dogs but has been a bit standoffish when introduced to other female dogs. She loves people and is very much a lap dog who requires a lot of attention. Sophie is house trained but does not hesitate to go in her crate so I would not classify her as crate trained. Her ideal home would be with a retired couple or individual who is home often and able to give her tons of love and attention daily as well as have the means to financially care for her. We have been struggling with rehoming her as we love her very much, but we work full time and are gone often which is unfair to her. Sophie needs a home with people who are with her the majority of the time and able to make her a priority.
