Rosie’s adoption donation is $400 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. She has also had a dental cleaning with extractions.
Rosie came into rescue through no fault of her own when her owner passed away and no one in the family could keep her. She has made a lot of progress in rescue and has adjusted well. Rosie loves going for walks and playing with toys. Rosie has adapted to the foster dogs in her foster home and tolerates them but she is used to being the only dog and would be great as an only dog as she does not engage with other dogs. She does need a patient and understanding home to give her some space initially. Rosie does love to be in the yard so a fenced yard is recommended to give her ability to be outside to explore. Rosie does well on housetraining if kept on a schedule. Rosie would love to have a furever home of her own to enjoy fall walks through the leaves and lounge on the couch for some belly rubs.
