My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born: February 12, 2023

I am seeking my forever home!

Adoption Donation: $400

Meet Dunn! Initially timid, this friendly and active herding dog quickly warms up to new people and situations. With his sweet demeanor and impressive herding instincts, this fuzzy companion is sure to steal your heart. Thanks to his prior experience with crating, Dunn is crate friendly. Once relaxed, he reveals his playful and affectionate side, embodying the ideal lively and loving companion with a natural talent for herding. Dunn is compatible with kids aged thirteen and above and adores car rides. His intelligence shines through as he responds to commands like "climb," "sit," "down," "crate," and "heel." Described as fun and energetic, Dunn excels in tasks like bath time, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. He's a pro at leash walks and is both house and crate trained. With his charming personality and carefree spirit, Dunn is sure to become your new favorite companion.

All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.

All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
