My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How precious is Pita! This 8-year-old sincere senior soul will have no trouble tugging at your heartstrings. Pita is as gentle as they come. She is mellow, always ready to snuggle up for a nap by the fire. Not that she won't perk up with her peppy prance come walk time! Pita brings good vibes to any party. She is most happy to just mosey around the backyard on a sunny day or curl up next to her humans for a Hallmark movie marathon. That is, if you don't mind the chorus of her sweet snores playing in the background! This 66-pound pup may welcome canine siblings pending a meet and greet, as well as kids and cats, too. We have a hard time believing Pita could not be the girl for you!

We are happy to report that Pita is getting a break from the shelter in a foster home and can be met with by appointment!

All of our dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered prior to being placed for adoption. They also receive a physical examination from our veterinarian and are tested for heartworm. All of our dogs receive age-appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and they are treated for fleas. All cats and dogs adopted from our facility are microchipped.
