My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Charlie! I might be a little shy when we first meet but give me some timeand I’ll show you that I’m a spunky and fun-loving cat with lots of energy! Myideal home would be with someone who is able to give me a lot of play time anddoesn’t mind when I get the zoomies three times a day. I might like a sibling whois younger and can keep up with me and is down to wrestle.

A few of my favorite things are straws, boxes, and soft blankets. I like snuggling up to my human and taking up half the pillow at night.
If you’re looking for an energetic best friend, come visit me, I’d love to meet you!

Note from my foster parents:
Whoever Charlie’s new parents end up being are in for a treat! He’s such a sweet
and silly lil guy and it’s been so fun for us to get to know all his quirks and
curiosities!
It’ll be sad to see him go, but we can’t wait for him to find his purrfect furrever
home! Could that be you???

Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.

Transport is also free but we do ask for a donation if over 30 miles.

Go meet their pets

Adoption events are held at Petsmart in Corvallis, Oregon. Events will be posted on our website, www.keithaskittierescue.org, and our Facebook page as well as advertised through partners.

All our cats can be seen via a pre-arranged "meet & greet" at anytime.

We do not have a brick and mortar shelter, but we have wonderful, caring foster homes.

More about this rescue

Keitha’s Kittie Rescue was created on August 10, 2017. and became a non-profit, 501(c)(3) on December 27, 2017. We just recently taken another rescue under our wing, Calapooia Critters Rescue and Transport.

The other shelters in the area often require owners to pay a fee to abandon their animal, or overcrowded and not able to take the animal, have the owner make an appointment to assess the animal or there is no local shelter in the community, and sometimes the animals a stray and takes time to adjust before being adopted or they need medical care. Keitha’s Kittie Rescue is all volunteer, foster based shelter.

Volunteers care for the cats and kittens in their homes. Adoption events are also held at Petsmart in Corvallis, Oregon. All money goes for the cats litter, food and medical care.

Our mission is to create a safe environment and find a future home for the unwanted, unloved, forgotten cats that no other rescue will take. We get a lot of injured, ill, and abused cats. Our veterinarian bills are quite high but we do what we can to raise funds and keep our animals in the best health. We NEVER euthanize unless it is extremely necessary. We have a few hospice foster homes where an animal can live out the rest of its days in love and comfort. It is our calling, our focus, and our main drive in life.
