What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Gigi is a special girl and it breaks my heart but I need to find a good loving home for this girl. Gigi is a formerly feral neighborhood cat. I had been feeding her and she sort of took to me. She’s been living in my basement as a sort of indoor/outdoor cat since last year, when I brought her in to help her when she had a respiratory infection. I think she is ready for more and deserves more.
She’s initially cautious with new people, and can still hiss or even swat on occasion, so she’ll need time to adjust with anyone new and space to gain trust. If you have the patience for that she can be an affectionate cat. She needs a person with a good heart who’s willing to work with her rough edges. Once she lets you in she’s a loyal and loving cat. Not 100% sure if she would be good with other cats.
