Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gertrude
Sweet Gertrude is the life of the party! She’s full of energy, a source of endless entertainment, and just loves everyone she meets. This beautiful little girl had a rough start to life as an abandoned kitten on the streets. Because of this, she sometimes walks with a head tilt due to a polyp that was removed and she is partially blind in one eye. Gertrude is also positive for FeLV, Feline Leukemia which makes her a special needs kitty. This condition means she needs to be an only cat, or live with other FeLV+ cats or cats vaccinated against FeLV. Her disease is contagious to unvaccinated cats and lowers her immune system so she will need some extra love and care. Gertrude wants you to know this diagnosis isn’t her fault and you would never know it from looking at her. Despite her challenges, she doesn’t let anything stop her! She is truly an inspiration. This happy lady will be sure to brighten your day. If you have some unconditional love to spare, apply now! Gertrude is around 1-year-old.

More about this rescue
We are Ninth Life Rescue Center. A foster based, all volunteer, no kill rescue. We take a lot of the harder to adopt/ problem animals that other rescues turn away and put the effort, time, and care into making them into the best success stories.
