Meet beautiful Jemma who is part of a BONDED PAIR AND SHE MUST BE ADOPTED WITH LEO posted next. They have lived their lives together and depend upon each other for companionship and love. Jemma came from a rural community where the owner fell upon difficult times. Family members convinced the owners that they deserved better so they were surrendered to GREAT Rescue., Wow, did it ever get better!!
You see, they are now living in an amazing foster home, with their fosters being former Golden Retriever breeders so along with this wonderful couple, they are also enjoying each day with the foster's four well mannered and beautiful Golden Retrievers. Talk about coming from the dog house to the penthouse-Jemma and Leo have arrived!!! Upon entry into GREAT Rescue, the first stop was to one of our Rescue Veterinary Hospital were they were given a thorough exam, bath, all vaccinations, microchip and a plan was set up for their heartworm treatment. Needless to say, they have been in the best hands evera nd are almost finished with their long journey into better care and are now looking for their forever homes.
Jemma is 7 years old, heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations, spayed and chipped. Along with Leo she will need a fully fenced yard, a new family member who is home much of the time, no children under 8, someone able to walk them daily and lives in NE Florida/SE Georgia.
