What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Marley is a 6 year old hound mix rescue. She has been with us since she was a young puppy and we love her dearly. We are only looking to rehome her because she has had a hard time adjusting to life with our toddler and we feel she would be happiest in a home without children.
Marley is a loving, wonderful girl with a lot to offer the right person. She loves to be active and spend time outdoors; she'd walk or hike all day. She's intelligent and loves to work; she is food-motivated and wants to learn any skills you can teach her. She loves being around her people, but can also happily spend time alone in her crate when you need to go out. Although she needs to be the only pet in your home, she can get along with other dogs under the right conditions, so doggy playdates aren't totally out of the question.
Marley's ideal home would be a fairly active, adult-only home without a lot of visitors and in a quiet area with a safe yard space for her to spend time in, and as an only pet.
