My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Milo he’s a 10 month old Norwegian elkhound who was surrendered to us because the breeder could not sell him as he was the runt of the litter a lot smaller than the rest of his siblings. He’s currently 42 pounds he’s a dainty little guy who prefers to be the king of his castle. He does not like sharing his toys, food or space with other animals but he’s great with humans of all sizes. Currently lives with a two-year-old and a seven year old and is very respectful.
He’s a bit stubborn, but oh so sweet and super treat and food motivated. Currently knows sit, come, down, crate and off.  He would love a yard to run in. He is a great alerter if anyone is coming by your home or yard he will let you know up-to-date on shots, neutered house and crate trained. He will be super quiet in the crate when you’re at work and when you go to sleep, but he doesn’t like to be crated if you are home, he will bark to let you know he is unhappy.
This handsome little man is absolutely gorgeous and so cuddly and adorable but please do your research on the breed before applying to adopt him. You need to have previous breed experience with Norwegian Elkhounds, as they are not for everyone.

Additional adoption info

We at Pibbles & More rescue animals from many situations. May it be from a shelter, bad home, or an unwanted furbaby... Once the animal is in our rescue they get the best treatment, care, love & training we can supply... So we work hard at finding the RIGHT family & home for our rescued babies. There is an adoption application that will need to be filled out, along with a home visit, vet check, personal references & an adoption donation... This fee varies from dog to dog. All our rescued animals are on flea/HW preventive Utd on shots and spayed or neutered... also all our animals are in foster care so this way we know the right home for each of our Furbabies.
