My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wanted to give a little more info on Kiwi for her profile and posts for adoption.
Kiwi is 6 months old and almost fully recovered from her Demodex. She is growing in a nice full coat and is no longer itchy.
Kiwi is extremely smart and very sweet. She quickly learns new tricks and masters puzzle toys. She LOVES her crate and easily adapts to routine. She is potty trained and learning good leash behaviors. She also LOVES baths and may just decide to join you for your shower even if it is not her bath day. Kiwi is working on some minor anxiety and is taking Zoloft once a day. She is getting over fears of loud noises like vacuums or noisy trash trucks etc. Kiwi is fostered with other dogs and a cat and parrot. She is curious but respectful of the cat and parrot. At times she likes to play a little rough for the cat's liking (she is a BIG puppy now weighing 50 lbs!) but she is responsive to redirection when told to leave the cat alone and she does not hurt him. She just wants to play and doesn't realize how big she has gotten. (and he used to like to wrestle when she was smaller). She is dog selective. She gets along GREAT with my four year old female pitty and is also usually respectful with my 10 year old male. She is not a fan of my VERY high energy small dog. She can have some resource guarding with high value treats or toys so they are kept put away during play time with her big dog friends. She also can be a little jealous of attention but is easily redirected with a favorite toy that no other pups care about.
She plays a mean game of fetch with her balls and is easy to wear out with this game.
She loves positive attention and will fall asleep in your lap after a ball game. She is generally not a chewer of things that are not hers, but keep away things like fuzzy slippers, because who doesn't love a pair of those! She does entertain herself well with bones of all sorts and particularly likes balls and stuffy toys, although they will get shredded if not supervised closely. She overall is an absolute love bug and has been an easy puppy from day 1 (minus hating her small friend as she has hit her "adolescent stage").

All Philly Bully puppies under 8 months must go to a home within 2 hours of Philadelphia. Philly Bully Team will prioritize homes with another young and playful dog, but we will also adopt to homes that sign their puppies up for training classes prior to adoption. You can read more about our puppy adoption policies on our website.
