My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Babyface Buddy is the furry 'buddy' you've been searching for(and can't help but adore)!  So look no further than this handsome boy to be your sweet, loving boy forevermore!

Sweet Buddy- Buddy, the brave!  Buddy, the small but mighty!  Buddy, the playful lovebug! Buddy, the boy with a luxurious, thick fur coat!  Even though Buddy was bitten by a dog,  successfully fought an infection and had his leg amputated, this little guy never stopped fighting or loving everyone around him!  He's bounced back quickly and has learned to do all the things kittens love to do; Playing with balls and toy mice(wrestling with them and winning, lol), running in and out of his kitty tunnel and, of course, exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings!

Buddy has a delicate, almost royal look with those strong cheekbones, luminous eyes and unique chin.  Between his appearance and his strong, determined spirit, he will steal anyone's heart the moment they see him and spend some time in his presence!  Not surprisingly, since he's been through more than his share of trauma in his young life, Buddy appears timid at first, but with some patience and TLC, you'll soon earn his love.  Before you know it, he'll happily show you what a lovebug he is and how he can't get enough of pets and attention!  And he's recently began to be a little chatty, too!

With a bit of patience and lots of love, Buddy should do great in any kind of environment with adults and children alike.  While he was the only foster kitten in his foster home, he was exposed to resident cats, and after a slow, thoughtful introduction, he should be fine with new kitties.  In fact, as a kitten he should really have another kitten or young cat to play with and share adventures.  We're not sure(because he was bitten by a dog), but possibly with a VERY slow and thoughtful introduction, Buddy may get used to a VERY cat-friendly dog in his new home.

Buddy is a definite charmer who will provide his lucky adopter/adoptive family with endless love and loyalty for many years to come! He doesn't need all four legs to love you with all of his heart. By the way, his lucky number is 3!  Can you guess why?!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
