My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bud is an 11 year old 28 pounds terrier mix.

A friendly healthy and good natured terrier that was once terribly neglected, Buddy has bursts of playfulness then becomes a couch potato. This well mannered senior would be the perfect companion for someone who is home since he likes and needs company. He has separation anxiety but dues settle down. His foster writes , “Buddy dislikes being left alone and does a very high pitch howl, but he does end up settling down after I leave for work. Likes sleeping in the bed. He doesn't act like an 11 year old he has spunk!” Buddy is housetrained and leash trained and he needs a house, not an apartment because of his initial reaction to being left alone. A dog companion would give him a sense of security. But he would be very happy only with you!

This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog's description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed and age assessments are based on visual appearances.
