My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HELP!!!!!!!!! Here is Charlie again, ABANDONED by humans 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️

I almost couldn’t write this today, I have broke over and over again for him. Just over two weeks ago Charlie was found abandoned in Victoria, Tx. He has demodex from mites eating his skin alive from poor hygiene and eye infections. We were contacted asking if we could take him under us and because we are well over our intake, we offered to make a post and network him! A lady commented on several of the post saying she wanted him, get him, bring him to her!!! She said she would love to have him if we would help cover his medical expenses, knowing our bills are piling up left and right, we agreed to a good, loving home, as an indoor pet, we would do that, and we did! We provided transportation, bath, a crate, food, medication and all the treatment needed, vaccines, microchipped him and brought him current on Flea/Tick/Heartworm preventatives. Although he is six months old, his skin infection was too severe for him to be neutered but we offered to personally cover that as well. He boarded a few days at Victoria Veterinary Clinic for monitoring and we took him to his new home.

He was doing so well, got along with the cats, two German Shepherds and was making himself at home. He was starting to feel like he finally had a family. All was great and we were told he was good and so sweet, a sweetheart.

There were some concerns that he eats too fast and too much at one time and the food has to be put up because he is gorging himself!!! More than likely because he was starved to near death before he had a comfortable home to call his own where he could enjoy a nice meal.

There was questioning that Charlie could possibly not be trusted with the cats because the way he looked at her and the kitty stayed outside more than usual. CURIOSITY MAYBE!!!!

His skin wasn’t an issue, only how he just smelled so bad 😔

There were concerns that Charlie tinkling on the concrete, or the hard tile floor in the house, instead of the grass or rugs, if he was raised on cement when he was tiny! POSSIBLY

No luck getting him to use the pee pads, didn’t like to use the doggie door but then he figured it out and days later wasn’t using it again so he was having to be taken out every hour or he wouldn’t go unless she was there!!! ASSUMING he was scared and probably just needed security in a new environment, for the first time he felt like he had a momma, a family who cared and perhaps he just wanted you right by his side.
WELL TODAY HE PEED ON HER BED AND SHE TOOK HIM TO THE CLINIC AND LEFT HIM THERE 😭😭😭🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️

HE WENT FROM BEING ABANDONED, TO LAYING ON SOMEONES PORCH OVER A WEEK, TO THE CLINIC WHERE HE RECEIVED CARE AND THEN INTO A HOME WHERE HE PROBABLY NEVER KNEW LOVE, EVER!!! AND NEEDED SOME TRAINING BUT HE PEED ON HER BED AND HE IS NOW ABANDONED AGAIN, HE HAS THREE DAYS AND THEN NO WHERE TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE NO WORDS!!!!!!!!

I WAS SURE CHARLIE WOULD AT LEAST BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE AND SET BOUNDARIES, HE IS A BABY, HE HAS TO BE TAUGHT, HE NEEDS PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING. I WALKED INTO THE CLINIC AFTER WORK TODAY TO PICK UP THE TWO LITTLES AFTER SURGERY AND CHARLIE IS THERE CRYING, DID NOT BRING HIS MEDICINE OR ANY BELONGINGS THAT WERE GIVEN FOR HIM, JUST CHARLIE, ALONE AGAIN, LEFT AND FAILED BY HUMANS AGAIN!!!!!!

WHY THIS IS HARD TO STEP INTO THESE SITUATIONS BECAUSE OF REASONS LIKE THIS, I KNOW I DON’T HAVE THE MEANS TO TAKE HIM WITH THE OTHER CASES I HAVE, MY UPCOMING SURGERY, AND MY FAMILY SO OVERWHELMED ALREADY THAT I CONTINUE TO DO BECAUSE I CARE, BUT TODAY IM DEFEATED, I’M BROKEN, I’M DONE!!!

Charlie looks as defeated as I feel!!! My heart is chattered for him!!! He will be set back and needs a true, fresh start.

Father God, You know all, I need you Lord, in my anger today I turned to you, to my Bible, to your word God and I’m asking today please send revival for Charlie and give me peace over this situation in Jesus name 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️
