Roxy has a sad story, she arrived to the shelter in 2017, after being found wandering the streets. She was nervous upon arrival, uncertain with her new environment. After being at the shelter for some time, she found, what we thought, was her forever home. After being in the home for 4 years, Roxy's adopter found himself homeless and she was returned to the shelter. She needs a home that will allow her to decompress after being in and out of the shelter system. Roxy deserves an adult home, low-traffic, where she gets to be who she really is. She's good on leash, accepts rewards happily and enjoys to be pet. She needs a home where she can experience the world with her trusting family; providing support and positive reinforcement. Roxy is 9yrs old, she is still playful and full of spunk; she is friendly with people she knows and has been friendly with strangers since being back at the shelter but was reported to be protective in the home and guard things. She truly needs someone who will set her up for success!
