My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Cheyenne and I enjoy playing with toys, the laser pointer, and I love receiving lots of rubs. I am shy at first and don’t really like to be held a lot. But give me a little time and I will come out of my shell. I can be talkative at times too but that’s because I miss you. My foster mom worked with me a lot and even let me sleep in her bed. I play well with other well-mannered kittens and cats, and even cautiously around small dogs. I'm looking for my forever family to give me the love and attention I deserve.

Are you interested in adopting Cheyenne or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.

Thanks for thinking adoption!
