Hi I'm Sparks! I'm just under a year old. I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I still require a rabies vaccine.
I'm a quiet little girl, who likes to do my own thing. I would do best in a home who respects my boundaries and gives me the time to come around. Im not a huge fan of cuddles but I have started sitting in my foster moms lap to watch some tv or have a nap. I LOVE toys, especially string ones that we can play together with. I enjoy being brushed and I'm working on having my nails trimmed. I Iove the cat tree at my fosters and often spend my days sitting at the very top watching out the window. Bird watching is my favourite activity. I'm good with dogs as long as they respect my space. I'm housed with 4 other cats and I get along with all of them. I like kids too but sometimes they make me nervous and I run and hide, however if they grab a toy I'll play for hours! Please give me a chance to show you how sweet of a girl I am, I've been at my fosters for almost a year and I would love nothing more than my own family!

Before you are eligible to adopt any animal from Border Paws Animal Shelter, you must complete our Adoption Application, and must be approved as an adopter.
To complete an adoption you must:
be a pre-approved adopter
be at least 18 years of age
visit the shelter to meet the animals
provide at least one piece of photo identification with current address
Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If approved, our Kennel Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to introduce you to any animals that may best suit what you are looking for, or the animal you've requested a visit with.
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption have
been spayed or neutered
received at least one set of vaccines
received a microchip for identification
Note: Animals are adopted to the individual with the most favorable application for the needs of the animal. Border Paws Animal Shelter reserves the right to deny any application received for any reason deemed fit by the organization.
