Name: She-hulk (mavis) Mavis is a sweet and energetic puppy who loves being with her people. She would make a great walking or hiking companion! She would do best in a home with other dogs (though can be nervous at first) and cats. She walks well on leash (is used to going for ü3-4 miles a day). Would do best with older, calmer children as she is a bit unsure of younger kids. She is very smart and picks up on new cues quickly (as well as knowing many already). She is fully house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks well on leash and is crate trained.
Mavis will likely need a patient human to help her as she adjusts to her new home. She may woof in new situations but does so less frequently the longer she's with you. She may also exhibit some separation anxiety as she adjusts to her new home. She crates quietly at night and at home with the other dogs stay loose but may bark for the first couple of days.
Age: ü8 months
Weight: ü45lbs
Shots: Up to date
This animal is currently waiting for its forever home in a foster home, If you would like to meet this animal, Please go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references.
We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
