Hey there, I'm Rufus, a charming coonhound mix with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Life took an unexpected turn, and I found myself at the rescue alongside my sibling, surrendered by my previous owner. But I'm staying positive and looking forward to a forever home filled with love.

Sweetness is my calling card - I've got a heart as big as the great outdoors. Despite the challenges, I've maintained my loving nature. Cuddles, kisses, and wagging tails are my language of choice. But let's not forget my playful side - I've got energy to spare and a love for all things fun.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
