Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper is a 13-year old female tuxedo. Declawed many years ago, before our mother took her in. Last vet health check was Sept. 2023 and all was well. No health issues. We are seeking re-homing because our mother's dementia has progressed and she is now rather aggressive with Pepper, causing Pepper to return the aggression sometimes (not always). But it's obviously time to protect both of them. Pepper has mostly lived in assisted living facilities and has been the sole pet except for 2 years recently when she lived with another female 10 years her junior. Pepper fussed at Molly as cats do, but wasn't aggressive and in the 2nd year would occasionally play with Molly. But Pepper is 13 so mostly likes to nap. She is a lap sitter and has a very soft coat. She isn't good with kids as she has spent her life with elderly people and is unaccustomed to kids' energy and quick movements. She hides from dogs. She'll thrive in a quiet, gentle environment.
