If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is our beautiful boy, Dovi. He is 6 years old and has been a wonderful member of our family. Unfortunately, we are needing to rehome him because we are moving off our acreage into a place that a big dog isn’t allowed.
Dovi is very smart and playful. He loves to walk in the trails and play with my kids on the trampoline. He spends a lot of his day sleeping in the sun or keeping neighbourhood watch. He is a quiet dog, will only bark if someone is coming up the driveway. He is well trained, but still struggles with jumping up when meeting someone new.
He has been a great playmate for my children (ages 10,12). Because he grew up with them, he had learned how to play gentle with them. He is a bit unsure of kids from outside our family. So, because of his size and breed I have kept him away from small children.
But, Dovi has a very sweet nature and has a lot of love to give! A family that lives in the country with older kids would be a perfect fit for him.
