Introducing our sweet senior, Harbaugh! Harbaugh is a true gentleman and loves sophisticated snacks, calm naps and loose leash walking! He will bark at you though, if you're not giving him as much love as he thinks he deserves in that exact moment. He does very well with other playful dogs and would not mind sharing his home with a few. Harbaugh's perfect fit would be a home where someone is home all of the time or most of the time. This sensitive guy gets in his feelings when left alone and experiences some separation anxiety. Harbaugh has been diagnosed with immune mediated keratits, an immune disease that results from the body attacking the cells of the cornea. Treatment consists of topical immunosuppressant drops and a gel-based lubricant. This condition will require lifelong treatment and care. Harbaugh is currently residing in a foster home and is not available for daily viewing at the shelter. The cost to adopt a dog is $95, $170 for a puppy. This includes:
DHLP, Parvo Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination and Bordatella
Heartworm test for age appropriate dogs
Spay/Neuter surgery
Dog license
Microchip
Although dogs receive initial vaccinations from us, please make an appointment to see your veterinarian within ten to 14 days after you take your new dog home for a complete and thorough physical examination, and to continue with vaccinations as necessary.

Where Our Dogs Come From
Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is a temporary home for dogs that are found on the streets by the county dog wardens. Dogs are held for 72 hours in order for the owner to claim them. After the holding period, unclaimed dogs may be available for adoption.
