My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT ME: I'm Ms. Puff! I am retired from boating school and now need a home to call my own! I can be shy at first but with treats and gentle pets, I warm up quickly. I would do best in a quiet home that lets me relax and hang out with my favorite people while I learn the skills of being a pet. Once we are friends I really love spending time with my people, and getting pets.

DREAM HOME: A home with a securely fenced yard would fit me well, but I am open to low-traffic apartments with easy access to walking areas. I walk pretty well on leash these days, but loud noises or people suddenly appearing do make me nervous.

KIDS: I think I would be best with kids over 5, but I am willing to meet younger ones. I'd really love to meet everyone in the family before we all head home if possible.

DOGS: I love playing with my friends at the shelter! I think I would do best in a home with another dog who can be my companion and role model. You can bring them to meet me first if you'd like!

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: Ms. Puff is such a sweetheart! She can be shy but with gentle introductions she'll come up to you and ask for pets and treats. She does excellent left alone in a crate and is house-broken (she will let you know when she has to go out by whining!). She would do perfect in a quiet home with other dogs to help with her confidence, or in a home with not too much noise!

SPECIAL NOTE: I'm available for foster-to-adopt so we can make sure we are an A+ pairing!
